• I believe it's 16GB. I added a 2nd 8GB stick for 16GB total. I don't believe you could switch out the original slot and the 2nd slot for x2 16GB dimm's, but I might be wrong. 16GB for sure at least in a 8GB x2 configuration.

• it has a Max capacity of 32 GB Ram. I had to look it up on the internet for myself. I don't take people's word for advice when they say I think it I'm not positive or I believe not sure lol. I verified it for myself. 32 GB ram.
