You have to open up the case and disconnect the battery to reset it. I cracked my screen while doing this, so be careful. I would go and buy an external hard drive and copy all of your data because you are about to lose this computer.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm sorry to hear your having issues with your HP laptop. Its hard to say what is wrong with it without me being able to see the device. But for the information you have given, it sounds like your mother board might be damaged. If the laptop will not turn on even with the power supply plugged in then your laptop might be dead. I would recommend taking your laptop to get looked at so you know for sure what the problem is. Hope this helps and again i'm sorry your HP laptop isn't working correctly
