All and all like it so far but as I've only done browsing on it I haven't had any problems with it the one thing I would say that bugged me a bit was the web cam gives a real jerky motion could be a lot better but the split feature makes it worth the price.

I really like the portability of this P.C. The Hp split screen is a full PC and when the keyboard is removed it operates as a tablet and PC. Before purchasing this 2 in 1 Hp Split Screen I also looked at the Microsoft Surface Pro but I chose the 2 in 1 Hp split screen because of the lower price. The only negative thing is that its kind of on the heavy and bulky side and accessories (like screen protectors, protective cases, etc) for some reason are difficult to find. I had to have a protective case specially made and screen protector specially cut for this PC. Otherwise, I think I made a very good choice in purchasing the Hp Split Screen.

Almost looks like a macbook for less than half price. And its touch screen and detaches to a tablet! Works well, but a little heavy. Overall good.

I like that I have a tablet and a PC all in one since my ipad and PC seemed to both take a dive around the same time. It's compact, a bit heavy; but not too bad that it bothers me. Touchscreen works well. A couple times when I've left my computer on for many hours without shutting down, the wifi doesn't want to kick in for about 5 mins. I'll have to monitor that more closely. Other than that I am very satisfied.

I've owned the Split for almost a month and am still liking it. Only had one issue with the included HP Support utility. It kept telling me that I needed to update a driver but wouldn't download it. I used the 'connect to support' feature and HP support took control of the laptop temporarily and fixed it. Nice. I would give it 5 stars but am slightly disappointed that it doesn't include the separate battery in the keyboard for longer battery support. I also tried to call HP and order it so I could install it myself. Support says the battery is not available now. I'll try again later.

After my first computer died completely, I was looking for something I could use for school, movies, projects, whatever. This laptop was perfect for everything I have going on. I like that the screen detaches into a tablet- great for Netflix with my boyfriend on the couch.
Sometimes if I open more than three tabs on the internet, it causes the computer to run a bit slower. Usually I have to reboot it to set it straight.
Other than that, I'm very happy with this product. Highly recommended!

The fact that it is touch screen and only usable as tablet is a great plus. But i3 as expected is a little slow. If you are not using it quite often but just having it as portable one or second back-up, it is a great product with its size and weight, etc.

I'm very happy with this product. Compared it with all other split laptops on the market & this is the best one for the price. The windows 8 takes some getting used to, but not a problem. The best buy staff were very helpful with answering all my questions.

Nothing spectacular. It's a laptop. It does what a laptop is supposed to do with no bells and whistles. It has more than enough storage. The design is nice, although a little lighter would be nice. For having Beats audio the audio is not great. It gets louder than old laptop but the sound quality is not good.
The biggest disappointment is in the "tablet." Technically it separates from the dock so it imitates a tablet, and it is touch screen. Other than that it isn't a tablet. When using in tablet mode it makes window more touch friendly but not the Internet. It doesn't allow you to move the page from side to side, or to increase or decrease size... It's not a tablet, it's just a touch screen computer that separates from its keyboard. If that's what you're looking for then great, if not, pass on this puter.

I initally wanted the surface but it was WAY out of my budget, so after much searching, researching, and deliberating, this was the machine I went with. My only complaint about this device is the battery life. Windows 8 takes a little getting used to (after having gone for almost 2 years without a laptop) but I am managing. It is perfect for school and work (save the battery life issue). The processor is pretty fast and the tablet aspect of it is just as straightforward. Definitely recommend it for everyday use.

My wife and I wanted to buy a 2-in-1 because she needed a laptop for her official works and we needed a large-display-tablet for reading books and watching netflix in our home. So far, the product is working fine except the windows crashed just after 2 weeks from the date of purchase. I gave a factory reset and it was good as new. I don't have any major complain with this product but I believe the design could be much better for the laptop mode. At its current design, the weight is centered just under the display screen and the laptop often topples if it is not placed in a plain rigid surface like a table. Also it takes significant effort to detach the tablet from the laptop which could be made easier and smooth.
Pros: Great Tablet with Windows 10, Good configuration within low price
Cons: Stiff design, a little inconvenient as a laptop

I was really excited when I first purchased this 2-in-1 tablet PC. It had everything I was looking for for a simple, yet portable computer. It has a 1.5gh Intel core i3 processor that's snappy for work, school, movie and music streaming. It's a full laptop PC and The keyboard completely detaches from the tablet. Because all of the main hardware components are in the tablet, and not the base with the keyboard and touch pad, the base is slightly Flemsy. If it's not proped on a flat surface or strait on my lap, the base tends to bend slightly, which makes the left button click down on the touch pad. The only other complaint that I have about this product is that when I first got it, I experienced the notorious complaint that the touch screen or touch pad would stop working, and require a restart. I did some research and quickly solved the problem. Hasn't happened since. Overall, I am pleased with it. This model comes in white, though I'm not find of white as it tends to get a little dory from time to time from frequent handling, it doesn't show finger prints like my old black dell, and is very elegant and beautiful in design. I will say to buy a screen cloth with this product as it is touch screen, and the screen can use a bit of cleaning from time to time.

Purchased this for my wife who just started college. She uses it primarily for online classes. It's obviously not a high end gaming machine but for her it's nice and portable, does what she needs and she seems to enjoy it. We did have an issue where the touch screen stopped working 2 days after we bought it, I went to the HP website and installed the latest drivers and that issue went away.

This is overall a nice two in one laptop tablet combo. Give the versitility of both without needing to buy two seperate tech devices. Only wish was a Best Buy bundle that would include an external drive or a choice of that or a printer something of that sort. User interface seems to be more tablet oriented so anyone not familiar with tablet/android type interface could either not like it at all or have a steeper learning curve compared to a traditional desktop/laptop set up.

I was looking for a new laptop for school and personal use, this more then delivered. The touch screen and separation to tablet option means i can take this every where. The new softwae and ease of learning curve use, i would recommed this to anyone who needs personal app use, school and even small business. no need for faster bigger better mentality here, This gets it all done.

After my 2009 HP took a dive this fall, I did not hesitate to go back to HP. I was pleasantly surprised to see how far the computer technology has came since 2009 for the modest prices listed. Overall this computer runs great! I have had it for 3 months now and have had zero issues. I love the detachable screen and the touch screen option. The only downsides for me (not that big of a deal) is there is no CD drive and it is top heavy because of the detachable screen. It flips over fairly easily. Some people who do some major computing may have issues with the small RAM space, but it has not been an issue for me as a grad student who games occasionally. I would definitely recommend it as a great little computer!

I really like the touch screen feature on this laptop as well as the 2-in-1 option to take the screen off. It is a little sensitive when you move around the screen and you end up clicking on something you didn't want or it takes you to another screen and that can be a little frustrating.

This was a nice little computer I helped my senior dad by. Nice little PC more than enough for surfing the web and doing basic computing. Nice tablet feel and responsiveness of the touch screen. Not sure if you can use a stylus which would be cool. pretty nice little package. not to heavy compared to a laptop. Wish it had a little more memory.

So I wated a couple weeks after my purchase so that my wife could really learn it and get a good feel. All in all for the price it's not a bad unit.
She really loves being able too switch from touch screen to keyboard functions, and it works primarily as a light weight Lappy better than a Tab. She rarely undocks it, as a tab its bulky and not super convieniant in small areas like the car. She still prefers the iPad for that.
Keep it close to the plug.... You won't get far without it. The battery life still needs work, and it's really no wonder, with that big tab like screen, it's gotta be sucking power like a truck.
With all that being said, she really does like it. If you're looking for a good lay around the house and stream movies and surf Facebook kind of machine, this is the one..., anything more than that, you should probably look to step up.
