• It probably would considering the HP tower and Presario are mad by the same company. These are also SATA drives.

• Don't know what drive is currently in your system, but I recently used this drive to replace a dead drive in my Dad's computer. Make sure that the old drive uses a SATA interface (not IDE). If so, it is really simple to open up your computer, pull out the old drive, and install and reattach the cables to this new drive.
