• Absolutely, but you will need either a display port/ mini display port/lightning display port to HDMI adapter or cable, depending on your MacBook's display out port.

• Your Mac should have something called a display port. You will need a display port to hdmi adapter. It will work fine.

• I connected this monitor to a MacBook. My MacBook quickly found the monitor. I used the included HDMI cable.
