QuestionI just bought the HP 25x and a CyberPowerPC desktop. However, the monitor is not starting. It keeps on saying “ DisplayPort: inactive” in blue and “ HDMI: inactive” in grey but I have the HDMI wire connected to the monitor and the desktop motherboard.

- Answer Make sure you're plugged into the graphic card on the back of the PC and not elsewhere. Ours has ports for both. The graphic card ports were capped, remove the cap and plug in.

- Answer im pretty sure u have to connect it to the device first, then use the options by using the buttons on the bottom right of the display. i set my display to gaming

- Answer Your computer would need a HDMI port. If does not have a HDMI port, then you might be able to use an adapter. I would recommend partnering with a blue shirt member in the computer department at Best Buy.

- Answer Sound will have to be supplied through your computer, in which case any computer speakers work. (No speakers put into the monitor)
