• If you are asking if this monitor can be used as an external monitor for the mac book air, the short answer is maybe. The long answer is it depends on your exact model. Depending on your exact model, it may or may not have an HDMI output. If your Mac Book Air has an HDMI output, then yes it will work. As for other models, your best bet is to buy a dongle, or an X to HDMI cable/adapter. For my workstation, it has a Display Port output. I have a DP to HDMI adapter connected to an HDMI cable.

• All Macs allow using an HDMI converter - check Apple website to know which one to get.

• It has two hdmi ports and a dvi port. The MacBook Air does not have either of those from what I know. Hope this helps.
