“Is there a removeable screen protector on the monitor from the manufacturer? It appears to have a removeable film, but I'm worried it's supposed to be there and if I remove it then the monitor will be messed up.”

• Yes there was a removable film on the screen. Just peel it off.

• There was no film on mine. The screen has a matte surface, not shiny.

• I am currently looking at the monitor, the film is attached to the screen. By my guess it would probably mess up the screen if taken off. The screen still looks great with it on, I think it is like that in the first place.
