Can this monitor be used for gaming? null

I’d say yes. Haven’t tried it, except with an iPad.

If I wasn’t using this to work from home I could easily see me using it for gaming. I’ve plug my iPad up to it, as if that’s a real test, it looks good. Response is great.

I would not. The other ViewSonic monitor I mentioned is a gaming monitor and it is much better. I'm afraid the response time on the HP would be an issue and the picture quality is disappointing.
