Q: QuestionDoes this model have thermal protection? What is the duty cycle, i.e., how long can it run continuously before it needs to rest—-how long is the rest period before one can resume shredding?

• A:Answer Hi John, thank you for the question. The HP AF809 Shredder has thermal controls and will shut down when the maximum temperature is reached. The duty cycle is 10 minutes of shredding, and 40 minutes of rest.

Q: Questioncan you use paper bags in the bin tray. If yes what kind of bags are ok to use

• A:Answer I can't think of a reason paper bags wouldn't work. There isn't a particular one to recommend, as long as it properly fits the bin.
