I've been repeatedly told to print out a page occasionally... once a week or so... keeps all going much better.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I go through more than 1 cartridge a year, but have a smaller Hp printer where it dries out. I would buy the smaller cartridge if I were you.

Apparently, there must have been a timer associated with the ink cartridges, because even though I printed probably only 10 pages ... after about a year, the printer told me that I needed to replace the cartridges..

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I do alot of printing. I've found that the XL does last longer and the printer usually will give warning a long time before dry out. I haven't had a dry out yet.
