You would need a computer between your keyboard/mouse and the monitor. The monitor is just a display and requires a computer in order to work. If you are familiar with Linux, you could get a $35 Raspberry Pi computer if you don't need a lot of computing power.

Please try again later. That is an interesting question, and what I would wonder is why would you want it to be an input to a monitor as opposed to a computer unless you are using an all-in-one monitor that is also the computer. The keyboard and mouse comes with a bluetooth wireless USB device that allows it to connect to whatever you have that can accept that USB device. If you have a USB input on your monitor, then it will likely be able to be used with the monitor, but I suspect that it would be an "outside" the box usage of the keyboard and mouse. On the other hand, if you are going to use it with your computer, it should be a no brainer, and all you have to do is plug the USB device into an available USB port and turn the keyboard and mouse on and they will find the connection. You do have to make sure that they turn on and they will typically have a small piece of plastic in them that covers the battery connection, so you have to remove that in order for them to turn on. Best of luck to you, and I hope that this fairly long winded explanation is of some value to you!
