• As long as the HP PC has one of the following operating systems you should not have any problems: Microsoft Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP SP3 or higher (32-bit only).

• I installed this unit on a very basic, inexpensive HP desktop. When I started the installation procedure, it went straight to Dell, downloaded the necessary drivers, and was ready to use in minutes. I would hazard a guess that it would be compatible with a much higher end machine.
