- Answer the usb port is for the cable that connects to devices if u can't connect via wifi. and no flashdrive it is very small and compact good for simple quick i need to print something lol. nice to have scan option copy

- Answer Yes, the 8035 will still be compatible for your situation. Connecting regularly to the internet is all that is required for Instant Ink plan upkeep.

- Answer No it is not a MICR printer. HP does not make printers that use Magnetic ink or toner. You can get pre-printed checks and not need magnetic ink.
