When hooked to the computer it has a 3 pronged socket to fit over the teeth. On the other side, it's a 3 prong plug. It's not an ac adapter box. I'm kind of dumb with hardware questions. But if the question is does it come with its own power cord that hooks up on the outside? Then the answer is yes. Hope this helps.
