No, there is no built-in speaker on this desktop. You can connect a speaker either wirelessly or by plugging it into the headphone jack.

Fortunately, I decided to remove the two small "HP" LCD speakers from my previous desktop PC (an HP Pavillion Slimline that I had for 11 years) and in five minutes I had them plugged into my new "Ryzen 3" PC and the sound was incredible. I was impressed. You could probably try to get a couple of similar speakers from Amazon. Mine are P/N #630797-001, Model #HSTNN-SS01, Power Rating: 2.5V and they measure 1-3/4" W x 2-3/4" L. Amazing, isn't it? Good luck.
