Can I connect two monitors null

I'm not a professional. When I was looking at this tower with a friend of mine who is better with hardware one of the things he mentioned to me was that I would not be able to use two monitors with this tower. You could use a splitter but the same screen would appear. What has to happen is a dual graphics card I think which this tower does not have. So basically no.
