Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it's on the front on the right side. There's a software control to open and close the drive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This model does not come with a CD drive. It does have a bay and a door in the case that supports the installation of an optical (DVD/CD) drive should you decide to add one. However the use of such drives has declined. Personally I decided not to add an optical drive because I can't remember the last time I used one.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Looks like it, right? And the Best Buy employee told me there was one. And yet, it doesn't open. It's deceitful and basically stealing from those that have purchased it that were told, and can clearly see, the CD rom slot on the front of the machine. Employees should NOT BE LYING to customers to make sales. HP should be ashamed of themselves for this 'bait and switch' trickery. I am so mad about this I can barely stand it. And I spent over $600 on something that can not do the one thing I needed it to, and was told by the employee that IT DID!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, there is not a DVD/CD reader in this computer. There is a slot for one inside the computer, but you'll have to buy one yourself.
