- Answer The box it came has the HP logo all over it with the word refurbished next to it. The bottom corner of the shipping box says "HP Refurbished Products: Fully refurbished to meed the demanding quality standards of HP; This product may contain remanufactured parts; Refurbished HP products are covered with a 90-day limited warranty"

- Answer no not true. it works for me except with corporate remote login VPN and java applet issues. as far as hardware is concerned this is a very nice piece.

- Answer 8.1 Home. for corporate use windows 8.1 home is O.K. at any cost please do not upgrade to windows 10, if u upgrade to windows 10, your VPN connection for your corporate would not work as expected. u need your help desk to setup u ( corporate help desk)
