QuestionI own an older HP Envy and my only complaint is that it has always run super hot. Has HP fixed this issue? Maybe a better fan or placing the vents on the side instead of the bottom would help. Does this current advertised laptop still run hot?

- Answer Units like the ENVY 2-in-1 are considered non-upgradeable. While the unit is not at max specs and can be upgraded, it would be best to have it done by a professional team like Geek Squad. If you were to have Geek Squad upgrade the RAM, they can do so without voiding your warranty. If were you to buy the unit and be interested in upgrading it, it would be best to contact HP Support or Geek Squad for possible options.
