Has this laptop improved the hinge issue? null

Buyer Beware. HP has the absolute worst hinges on the market. I am tying on a 1 1/2 year old Envy that is being held together on one side by a strong clip. HP customer service would do nothing and certainly not admit to a faulty design. I have maintained this laptop in pristine condition. Don't trust what they say. Talk is cheap!!!
