What is compatible today may not be in a few months. Please check the software manufacturer's website for the most current system recommendations.

I would recommend looking at the HP OMEN or HP Victus gaming laptops. Both of those series of gaming laptops are designed to play a game like Civilization and other demanding games.

Check the Civilization website for recommended specs and use that as a starting point in your search, so your husband will be assured of a satisfactory experience with his present, and be happy that you made the extra effort for him.
