• I ma not sure what version comes with this laptop but what you are referring to sounds like Windows 11 S (Security.) You can turn off Windows 11 S if you like. the first time you try to open a command prompt it will give you a link to disable it. That being said, Widows 11 S is much more secure than just plain Windows 11. it is also faster as it prevents the buildup of kludge and tracking software. Play at your own risk, your mileage may vary. :-)
