Hello, the hinges are tested for 1000 conversions but if you do have something occur you have a 1 year manufacturer's limited warranty. You can also purchase the HP Smart Friends additional warranty, or the HP Care Package, as well as the Best Buy Geek Support Tech package and have the device repaired and maintained.
