• Good question. The computer has a built-in mic near the webcam. There is no set up process. If you ever video chat or use a program that requires a mic, it will automatically record. I hope this helps.

• Yes, look along the top of the screen bezel... See the camera in the middle, there are holes on either side. Microphone.

• It does have a microphone installed, and to set it up you go to audio, or load Skype, which walks you through it.
