• If your computer doesn't come with a dongle, then the devices are pre-installed and will start working automatically when you hook up and turn the computer on.

• The wireless keyboard and mouse worked as soon as the batteries were activated. They do not work with other computers as the receiver is built into the computer. You can use another keyboard and mouse if you want to.
