• HP63 cartridges. It comes with the standard ones, you may want to buy the XL cartridges to get more pages, the black one that came with the printer ran out after printing about 50 pages of dense text and figures.

• The printer comes with a program where they monitor your ink levels in the two extra large cartridges. In turn they send you the replacement cartridges ahead of time. I have NEVER run out in in the 1 + years that I have had it. They do charge you for additional paper printed. Still very cheap. Unfortunatly mine just had a fatal error just after the printer went out of warrantee. I purchased it for 50 dollars at Best Buy. Just a comment, I have extreem High Anxiety. Fortunately I had bought a Velocity Micro gaming PC but never played games on it. It has 4 slide islots. I always keep two additional C drive on standby.also use two slots for Data. All drives are 2t Sata drives..

• The printer comes with INK, but it uses a Color and Black cartridge that can be purchased at most stores or directly from HP.
