The benefits of this printer is being able to enroll in the HP printing program that sends your ink to your mailbox whenever it senses you are getting low so you never run out. I have the 50 page print plan for $2.99 a month that includes color ink.

Go on the HP website and it will tell you. When my old printer died I still had almost full 564 cartridges. They last a long time but don't over buy or they will dry out on you even if not opened. HP is excellent with product replacements fo just about any reason.
