I stilll use windows 7 home premium computer. my hp all in one printer/copier not working well the copier not seem to be at all. I have a wireless mouse really like looking into wireless keyboard as well to when need to bring it closer to me to see it cord/wire makes hard. will this work with my hp windows home premium 7 desktop pc? I do have wifi capability in my home. what kind of battery does it use? how long does the battery power last? how costly are the ink cartridges? thx.”

I'm not a pro or an HP rep, but I believe you would have no problems using this printer with your set-up. The printer itself plugs into a wall socket for power, it does not operate on battery. The "wireless" part of it is that it can be recognized on your wireless network and you can print from a laptop or desktop that is not physically connected to the printer. Therefore, you can place the printer where it is convenient. Most printers nowadays are network compatible, but can also be directly connected to your desktop (as I do for my laserjet). If I recall, the ink package (black + color) was about $40, but you can get extended life ink and even bulk packs at Costco. This printer takes cartridge 63.
