does printer operate on single cartridge null

Has 1 Black & 1 color cartridges. If you only print in Black & White, maybe you only need the Black cartridge. Haven’t tried so don’t know for sure.

You need 2 cartridges, one black, one trI color. You can set the printer to save on color ink, just print in gray scale or all black if you want to.
