For any HP Instant Ink plan, for any extra pages over the monthly allowance, you will have to pay for a set of pages. But at the same time, you can roll over any pages you haven't used. So, let's say you have the 50 page for $2.99. You print 40 pages this month. 10 pages rolls over to next month. You can keep rolling over any unused pages up to 100 pages. They don't expire. But it caps off at 100 pages for that month. That is great for when you need more than 50 pages in a particular month. You won't have to pay anything extra. With the HP Instant Ink plan. You pay for the pages you print. Not the ink. So, you can print full page photos all year long if you wanted. HP will send you ink at no additional charge before you need it. Yes, you can choose not to be a part of the HP Instant Ink plan. You would just need to buy the ink cartridges at the store.
