“Is this printer only WiFi or is it direct connect also?”

• This is a complex question with no easy answers. There is a usb connection which does do basic printing, but if you are looking to scan in pages, you have to download "apps" for it to scan wirelessly from HP and all the HP instant ink service stuff which I do not intend to do. Read and understand everything before you download it.

• You have the option to directly connect with a USB cable, but you'd have to buy it separately.
