Basically, there is a card attached to the box with a code that you have to scratch off. When you are registering for the Instant Ink program, you can enter this code for $10 credit towards the charges for ink. The value of this $10 will essentially depend on the plan that you choose. There are 3 levels: 1) 50 Pages / month @ $2.99 / month, 2) 100 Pages / month @$4.99 / month, and 3) 300 Pages / month @ 9.99 / month So, the $10 credit will cover either 1, 2, or 3 months - depending on which plan you choose.
