Yes, bought mines in 2019, and in 2022 it will only print 1 out of 30-40 times of trying. The problem is the mechanism for picking up the individual sheets is not working. I've looked at the issue with a flashlight, through the opening in the paper tray, when paper "engages" you can't see to the back as the paper blocks the view, if you can the paper didn't load and you will get a FAKE paper jam error. They recommend cleaning the rollers, laying the printer on the side and opening the paper tray gives you access to the underside rollers(gray in color), the main rollers on top are black, they seem dusty in my case, but aren't the ones loading the paper. When paper does load it prints no problem. The two rollers are only meant to push paper to the main rollers, then there's a plastic toothed tab that pushes the paper to the bottom rollers (here lies the problem I think, as the sheets don't get pushed up, while the rollers get pushed down). It has two on each side that are also on springs, when you hear the snapping the printer makes it's all these little bits trying to push the paper up, so the roller can have enough "time" to "stick" and roll them to the main rollers. I do not know how these are failing however, just that they refuse to "push" the paper up, tried with 10 sheets tried with a single sheet to no avail. The question is, is the price being charged for it good enough for 3-4 years of VERY LIGHT SERVICE? I don't think I've printed more than 100 pages in its lifetime. Even before that, it had issues so when the drivers finally matured, the device itself no longer worked/works. Sometimes if I can push the paper myself with a finger through the tray hole, it loads and only sometimes. I even been able to coax it, so that the next print already has the paper loaded by doing failed test prints, for some reason this way has it loading the paper the most often. Not ideal. Truth be told I maybe had a whole solid year or problem free printing, in the beginning it was driver issues, in the end it was the fake paper jam.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I kept getting docs stuck in the queue, and the fix-it tool kept reporting i had a paper jam. Trust me. I did not have a paper jam. Irritating! I went online and searched for "documents stuck in print queue" and got the steps to fix it. A little tricky, though, as I had a 64-bit Win 10 OS, and the instructions were meant for earlier OS's.
