A:Answer Thank you for asking. Page yields are estimated by the ISO and most manufacturers use those yields, which is about 5% ink coverage on the page. That's about the page coverage of a short email. For heavier page coverage, you'd use more ink and would not get the page yield listed on the ink package. With Instant Ink, a page is a page. Whether you print photos or reports, you are not charged for the amount of ink used to print that page. Instant Ink charges by the page, so, for example (at current rates), if you print 100 pages per month, ink would cost you $5.99 per month, whereas a set of cartridges for a DeskJet or Envy printer would cost $$35-$50 and yield the same amount (unless printing pictures, that would use a lot more ink and yield less photos from those cartridges). Instant Ink has many plans available, whether your needs are large or small. And you can change your plan if you find that you're not printing as much, or printing more than alotted. You can also cancel at any time.
