• Mine came with a dvd drive and it appeared to be a factory install

• The drive is behind the vertical panel on the front.

• If you are at the store - check what the box says specifically, or online - item description. If there is a DVD drive, it will be hidden by the silver bar (ENVY) that runs vertically on the front of the tower. This is also where a Wifi indicator is located.
