You can save on any drive. But the D drive is the larger slower drive. Typically that is where you would save most of your files. The C:\ is primary use is for the operating system. If there are 1 or 2 apps that you use daily, I would just install it on the C: drive as it will load much quicker. Keep in mind 128 GB is not much as windows will take up at least half that capacity. And you never ever want to fill up the drive to max capacity, especially the OS drive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Drive "D" DATA drive is a 1TB mechanical HHD.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not sure what you are asking. I save most of my stuff on the "regular" hard drive. I do save some stuff on the OneDrive because I want to be able to access it from my laptop when I'm in another room or somewhere else. OneDrive is cloud based (I think. I'm a novice when it comes to saving things in the cloud.) Hope this answer helps you.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thank you for your excellent question! Typically when you have two drives like this you will use the larger, slower drive for most of your document storage and programs while the smaller, faster drive will be used for your Operating system and any programs you want to benefit from the increased speed.
