I have this problem with every wireless HP, BEST BUY purchase of a mouse. (or any wireless mouse from best buy) Take it to them but make sure you do it within 14 days of purchase, my screen started going black, mouse was erratic, keyboard space bar did not work....they said 16 days is too long, had to be 14 or less. Horrid treatment for all the investments there. I turn my mouse off and on again, sometimes it solves the problem .....good luck with Best Buy

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same problem when I bought my HP ENVY PC. The wireless mouse was really sensitive and jumpy even after I adjusted the mouse settings in Control panel. I even had issues at times with the keyboard. I tried an old wireless mouse and keyboard from my old Del PC and had the same issues. I have since switched to a Logitech K120 USB keyboard and Mouse and have had no problems.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If it is a Bluetooth mouse, it came with a USB dongle. If the signal between that dongle and the mouse is blocked by anything, it will cause it to be erratic. We have cleared the airway between the two and have no more problems. Good luck!
