“Can this unit be laid flat or over on its side and a monitor put on top of it? Or is it just a tower?”

• The unit is made to be upright and has feet on the bottom. The main concern is not to block any air vents at all so that the unit can achieve proper cooling. I would use it upright if I could.

• If you use it upright, the DVD player may be a problem. I dropped one into the inner workings out of the tray, and it took a bit of shaking to retrieve it.
