A:AnswerThis computer has enough room for a full size graphics card. You will most likely need to upgrade the Power Supply Unit to accommodate the more powerful graphics card.
A:AnswerI used Corsair - CX Series Modular CX750M 750W ATX Power Supply - Black Model Number: CP-9020061-NA SKU: 8324202
but it really depends on how much wattage is required for the components to operate. If you upgrade the graphics card you will need to get a 500w to 750w PSU.
A:AnswerProduct utilizes built in Intel Video with 2 HDMI Ports. Depending on your needs you may want to choose another machine to upgrade the video card as this machine only ships with a 300 watt power supply. I believe the higher end video cards require a 500W power supply.
A:AnswerMicrosoft provides the option to update to Windows 10 Professional for a $99 fee. I believe it is under the Update or Activation Settings. Beware though the license is non-transferable and locked to this PC. So if you upgrade to another PC you will not be able to reactivate the license on it.. If you want to transfer the license to another PC you will have to buy the full retail copy.
A:AnswerThe space allocation appears to be pretty fixed. The physical DVD drive in the machine looks like it is from a laptop (i.e. very small form factor/footprint). I have extra drives and thought about adding one to the machine but when I opened the case there did not seem to be space for additional similar drives. I could be wrong about additional drives but if there is the option it will be the smaller version of the drive (i.e. similar to a laptop drive). I have not dug too deep into the system manual at this point but it does not appear to be space for more DVD or other ROM drives. I had wished the DVD was a Blu-Ray instead.
A:AnswerThis machine has a high-end very fast Geb-7 Intel cpu. It is very fast. But it utilizes onboard Intel graphics so I would say this computer is more geared towards the business side than hard core gaming. For example, the graphics can't support 4K gaming. To support hard core gaming you would need to buy a new high end GPU card to fit the slot inside the computer. You will also need to upgrade the power supply from the 300wtts stock to 450-500watt range to support the high draw from the new GPU card. Then you would have an awesome gaming machine.
A:AnswerWhen I bought this computer I was told that it will be not the greatest on video editing, but I have had no problem on it when video editing and I would say if you do both video editing and gaming there isn't another computer close to this one for the price and equipment that comes with it.
