- Answer I don't believe this would be a problem unless you changed or added a card (like a high power requirement video card) to the systems. Today's CPUs and have much lower power requirements than in the past. I have not encountered any issues in this regard.

QuestionI see the i7-8700 is at 3.2ghz speed. Does this come with intel turbo boost installed to bring it to 4.6ghz?? or is that extra cost and how much? and can you add a 1 TB backup drive?

- Answer The Intel i7-8700 in this model will be able to turbo boost up to 4.60 GHz. An external USB hard drive will be the best way to add more storage space on this desktop.

- Answer This desktops does have an open PCIe x16 slot for the card. The desktop only has a 180 watt power supply. It looks like the P620 can draw up to 40 watts. You might run into power issues with this desktop.

QuestionAre all the ports at the front of the computer? Then when you connect the monitor, printer, etc.. all the cables will be at the front or are there ports at the back? I cannot find a picture of the back of the computer.

- Answer There are additional USB ports and an hdmi monitor port on the back. I run mine with nothing plugged into the front.

- Answer The HP Envy desktop does not have a built-in webcam. You will need to buy a USB webcam. They are easy to install and use, and they connect to the top of your monitor.

- Answer You should have no trouble adding that sound board card, assuming there are Windows 10 drivers available for it. If the card comes with RCA jacks, you'll be able to plug the speakers into it. If the card has a different style of jacks, you'll need an adapter.

- Answer Increasing the speed on this computer can not be done externally. The motherboard on this computer would allow you to upgrade to an Intel Core i7-9700 3 GHz Base frequency, 4.7 GHz with Intel Turbo Boost Technology, 12 MB cache, Octa-core (Coffee Lake-R) and give you about 9% better performance. - Answer Hi Blake, HP does not list the exact model number of the memory that is installed on this desktop. Once you get the desktop, you would have to open up the case and look at the model number on the memory stick.
