Thank you for the question. You'll be able to use heat transfer paper with any of our inkjet models. Thermal inkjet refers to the technology in the ink cartridge (that ensures proper ink viscosity), and heat transfer refers to the method used to apply the printed image onto the item to which you're transferring.
