- Answer Look at HP's Instant Ink program. You pay by how many pages you print so then it doesn't matter how much ink it uses anyways. If you want to be able to print beautiful pictures look at the HP Envy Series like the 7155. If printing just documents is more your focus then look into the HP OfficeJet Seriece

- Answer Thank you for the question. You can buy replacement cartridges when you run out of ink, or you can subscribe to Instant Ink and never have to worry about running empty. It's a monthly subscription, you are charged by the page no matter how much ink is on the page. Great for photos! Instant Ink is about 50% less than the cost of typical retail cartridges. - Answer Thank you for asking. USB cables are typically not included with printers. (an exception would be a Laser network printer). Please purchase a USB-A to USB-B cable separately.

QuestionDoes the model hp envy 7155 automatically print the date on anything it prints out?? If so how do you get it to print the date?

- Answer Thank you for the question. Most software will allow you to add a footer or trailer, but you'd have to set that for every print job. In the Windows print driver, you should be able to create a watermark that will appear on all documents - including date and time.

QuestionHey I was ready to sign up for the five free months of the Instant Ink but I have no idea how to redeem it. I however did think that the free $5 dollar card is the free five months promotion, but I'm not sure if it's cap or not

- Answer After reading the info I believe it requested a credit card to continue receiving the ink periodically. That’s when I opted to not take advantage of the “free” offer. Disappointment!!

QuestionWhen preparing to email is there an option send it to any email address? I have a scanner that only emails to my outlook, and there's no option to change it. So, if I scan a document, can I email it to any email address with this printer?

- Answer Hi Larry, thank you for asking. Yes, you can scan to any email desitnation. The Scan-to-Email App uses Web Services as a means to communicate between the printer and the Cloud servers where the email is processed. For this reason, Web Services must be running on the printer: see HP Printers - Turning On Web Services.

- Answer Using the HP smart App on your phone let's you scan as many as you want and you can change from pdf to jpeg and vice versa. Plus side to this is that you can share all different ways that your phone is accessible with, email, Bluetooth, SMS, Cloud, etc. This is the easiest way to do it instead or one page at a time .

- Answer Yes, the HP Envy Photo 7155 printer is similar to the HP 5660 model. The HP Envy Photo 7155 printer does use different ink cartridges, HP 64 or 64XL black and tricolor ink cartridges. Both printers have SD card readers and two paper trays. The one paper tray is for photo paper and the other paper tray is for other paper.
