Mine is just fine. Maybe take it back to BB and let them know about it. It maybe a faulty adapter.

Please try again later.it all depends on the size of the battery, the speed at which its charging, and if youre doing anything while its charging. from my experience, unless you have a very low voltage laptop (which this is not, it has a 1080p freesync touchscreen, a spinning hard drive, a 15 watt CPU, a backlit keyboard, cooling fan, etc, all sucks power), a hot power brick is completely normal.
