hands down this laptop. The cpu is 5 percent more powerful and the graphics are 10 percent better. I'm not supposed to include links to other websites but you can look them up on gpuuserbenchmark.com tho
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Well depends on what games. This laptop works fine for me for playing Overwatch and some steam games. (The stem games aren't too requiring.) I play Overwatch at 30 fps at 75% graphics, runs fine hardly ever lags. The i7 processor that you mentioned is basically the same as the higher end i5s. But it does have 2gb discrete NVIDIA 940m graphics. The NVIDIA is a bit better, but the R7 is still pretty good, only a couple points lower than the NVIDIA. So if you must make a choice, I would go with this laptop. The graphics are good and the processor is better. If you don't like it, or it doesn't work out well, go for the other one. :)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The amd fx and intel i7 are matched on all benchmarks. On the other hand, the 940m and r7 both have upsides and downsides according to benchmarks. Also, it depends on the 940m most of them use ddr3 while all of the new r7 gpus use ddr4-20% faster. Since the 940m adds 25 watts which is almost twice as much as either the i7 or fx I would definitely go with the r7. If you care more about performance than battery life don't get 940m graphics get at least 960m.
