No as far as I know it won't run any downloaded game smoothly. I played Team Fortress 2, and the computer shut down due to overheating issues. I believe it has enough power to run the game, but it's cooling system can't keep up. Overheating is a common issue with this model and so far no one on the HP forums to my knowledge has solved the issue.
