• This laptop has a replaceable battery but it requires the whole bottom panel coming off. The battery shouldn't need replacing for 3-5 years depending on proper battery care.

• No, it does not have a removable battery. Of course, if it's out of warranty, and you don't mind a little bit of work, you can replace the battery, given you have the correct screwdriver to take the underside off. And you make sure to ground yourself so you don't short anything out. If you don't want to do that, any computer repair shop worth their salt would be able to replace the battery for your (and order the replacement), though it would cost more than doing it yourself.
