I have only had this laptop for the last couple day. But I did my best to put the battery through it's paces. Between getting all the updates for the software and transferring all my photos/videos/documents/etc, the battery gave me a solid 5 hours. From all the reviews I read, if using the basic stuff (listening to music while writing a paper or watching youtube) then the battery can last anywhere from 7-10 hours. It all depends on what you are doing, how you have your preferences set up and so forth. But for a PC, I feel anything over 5 hours is worth the price unless you are going for a MacBook Pro.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you allowed it too fully charge you can go all day almost, also depends on if your running certain apps, videos, music and ext.. I would say a full nights charge I get any where from 8-10 hours on it. Though I have only had mine a week or so.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I got this laptop for school also and the battery is really good. I am normally surfing the web with spotify on in the background, and I can get a solid five minimum. I'm sure that if I put it on battery saver mode, and no spotify it would go for at least six. If I fully charge it and only watch netflix, i can watch about six Supernatural episodes before it jumps into battery saver mode (40% for me) so that's about 4.5 hours of straight Netflix.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The answer to your question is relative to what you are doing. Surfing the net, or using MS Word, at least 4 hours.
