• I would bring it to a geek squad near you and see if you have some dirt or dust in the fan that's making it work harder . But remember the new technology in the laptops of today require more heat dissipation. All the new processors run hotter than the ones in your old laptops and require more fans.

• Sorry to hear that. Mine doesn't make hardly any noise at all. You may have a problem. Does it sound like a fan or the hard drive? Those are about the only possibilities. Have Best Buy take a look since you just bought it. Have them compare it to a display model.
