I did see in the service manual something about it having an M.2 slot daughter board but I did dismantle it entirely and did not see an M.2 slot anywhere. The ram was difficult to get to for the average computer user, it has an 8gb stick installed and 1 open/available slot, I put an additional 8GB stick. I replaced the hard drive with a standard solid state drive and this computer is amazingly fast! Replacing the hard drive was not that difficult compared to 90% of the newer laptops out there.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The service manual says that it does, but this is not an easy laptop to open up. It requires removing the rubber feet and other screw covers and prying off the front panel, keyboard, etc. Don't buy this in the hopes of upgrading it to an SSD.
